How do I open a new account?
Opening a new account is easy.
Located in the top left part of every page is
the link "My Account", click it to
either log in or to make a new account. This
process is quick and the pages are secured by
SSL so your information is safe. (Figure 1 below)

How do I see real time
shipping and taxes?
Many of our customers are not
only interested in the item price, but the taxes
and shipping that will go with it. Extreme PC
has developed a quoting system for these based
on where you live. To do this, you will have
to be signed up for an account so that we may
use your address for the calculations.
If you already have an account
with us, sign in, if you do not, create a new
account. Now when you add items to your cart
you will get an estimate for shipping and taxes.
(Figure 2 illustrates what your cart looks like
without signing in, and Figure 3 illustrates
when you do log in.

I have forgotten my username
or password and cannot log in, what do I do?
If you have forgotten your
username or password email
us with your name or phone number and we
will reset your information for you. In the
event that we cannot find your information you
may be required to create a new account.
How do I use the wish list?
To use the wish list, you must
first log into your account, do this by clicking
"My Account". Once you have logged
in, you will see your wish list in the right
menu (Figure 4). You may add items to the wish
list while browsing the site. Each product will
appear with the option to "Add to Wishlist",
clicking this will add the item to your list
(Figure 5). You can view your wishlist by clicking
View Wish List in the right menu, you may now
add/remove/view/buy items in your wish list
(Figure 6).

I have added the items
to my cart, how do I put in the order?
Once you are satisfied with
your order click "check out" in your
cart in the right menu, if you are not logged
in you will be asked to sign in. You will be
taken to a series of 4 screens. The first is
the shipping screen where you select which shipping
method you want. The second screen
confirms your shipping and billing information,
it will also ask you how you wish to pay (Figure
8). Currently Extreme PC accepts paypal, visa,
mastercard, and money orders. On
the third screen you will be asked to enter
your payment information (Figure 9), and lastly,
a finalization screen will show you your receipt.
Invoices are also emailed to customers and can
be accessed through the "My Account"
section.

Is my order safe when ordering
with Extreme PC?
We are secured with a SSL certificate
to insure that your personal information is
encrypted and secured when you communicate with
Extreme PC. All your personal information and
credit card information is stored on our secured
servers that are not connected to the Internet,
and we further insure your privacy by making
sure that access to the data is given only to
the extreme-pc.ca team members that need to
access your information to process your order.
How do I log out?
You can log out by clicking
the "Sign Out" red text located at
the top left part of every page. (Figure 10).

How do I change my personal
information?
You must log into your account
to change your information. Once you have signed
in you may access your account information at
any time by clicking "My Account"
in the top left part of every page. See Figure
10 above. Once you have logged in click Edit
Shipping Address & Profile or one of the
other options to manage your account. (Figure
11)

How long until an out of
stock item comes in?
Usually out of stock items
come in within 2 business days. On some occassion
longer delays may be experienced, if the situation
is unique a reason will be given on the product
page. We suggest you call or email
us and we can give you a better idea of
the ETA for the item.
How do I pay for my order?
Currently we accept Visa/Mastercard,
Paypal, Money orders and Cash.
We highly suggest you do not send money through
the mail. You may also pay by debit at our Store.
Do you accept International
orders?
We currently only ship and
sell to residents of Canada. We are planning
on selling internationally at a later date.
How do I cancel my order?
If we have not shipped out
your order you can call us or email us to have
your order cancelled. If the item is already
shipped out you may ship it back to us however
you will be charged a 15% fee for shipping and
restocking costs.
I received a product that
isn't working or is the wrong item, what now?
Unfortunately sometimes products
might not work,whether it got damaged during
shipping or was DOA, in these cases we ask that
you submit an RMA Form
for the product. If we have sent you the incorrect
product we will replace it with the correct
one with no additional costs for shipping.
It's been a while and my
product still isnt here, what should I do?
You should first log into "My
Account" and check the order status. (Figure
12). The order status section is located at
the bottom of the invoice page, we use this
to convey information to our customers. If this
status does not satisfy you, or there has been
no progress please contact
us.

How do I know when my product
has been shipped?
Your order status will indicate
the order has been shipped along with tracking
numbers if necessary.
How long to orders take
to process?
Depending on volume orders
are usually processed same or next business
day. In most cases you can expect to wait till
the next business day if your order is submitted
after 2:00pm EST, or same business day if before
2:00pm EST.
What are the forums and
how do I use them?
The forums located
here can be used to ask questions and get
answers. Ask fellow peers about computer issues
or anything.
